These creamy fruit popsicles combine the tangy richness of Greek yogurt with the natural sweetness of fruit jam, offering a refreshing and healthy frozen treat perfect for warm days. With simple ingredients and easy preparation, they make a delightful snack for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fruit jam (blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, mango peach)
  • 1/4 cup whole milk or canned coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, stir together the plain Greek yogurt, fruit jam, whole milk (or canned coconut milk), and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and uniform. Add more milk if the mixture feels too thick or creamy to your preference.
  2. Fill Molds: Evenly divide the prepared mixture into 6 to 8 Dixie cups or popsicle molds. Note that Dixie cups are preferred as popsicles are easier to remove compared to traditional molds.
  3. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Place popsicle sticks into each cup or mold. Freeze the popsicles until they are completely firm, which usually takes about 4 hours or you can leave them overnight for best results.
  4. Optional Layering: To create layered popsicles, pour 2 to 3 different fruit jam flavors in layers into each mold before freezing. Allow each layer to set slightly if desired before adding the next layer to keep distinct layers.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Once fully frozen, remove the popsicles from the cups or molds and enjoy your creamy fruit popsicles as a delicious, cooling snack.

Notes

  • Using Dixie cups is recommended over traditional popsicle molds as popsicles release more easily from them.
  • Adjust the amount of milk to achieve your desired popsicle texture.
  • Feel free to experiment with different fruit jam flavors or use homemade jams for variety.
  • For a dairy-free option, use canned coconut milk and a non-dairy yogurt alternative.
  • Store popsicles in the freezer in a sealed container or bag to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness.
