Garlic Ranch Pretzels are a quick and flavorful appetizer combining crunchy pretzels with a savory blend of ranch seasoning, garlic, onion, and dill, all coated with oil for a perfect snack.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 15 ounces pretzels (small twists, one 15-ounce bag)
  • 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning (about 2 tablespoons, can add up to 3 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oil (canola, olive, or coconut oil, can also use melted butter)

Instructions

  1. Combine pretzels and seasonings: Place the pretzels in a large bowl with a lid. Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill evenly over the pretzels.
  2. Coat the pretzels with seasoning: Cover the bowl and shake it well to evenly distribute the seasonings on the pretzels. Alternatively, you can stir with a spatula, but shaking helps the seasoning spread more uniformly.
  3. Add oil and mix: Pour the oil over the seasoned pretzels. Cover the bowl again and shake well to coat the pretzels with oil and seasoning. Gently stir as needed, especially to scrape off seasoning from the bottom. The pretzels can be served immediately, allowed to dry a little, or baked for a crisper texture before serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of ranch seasoning from 2 to 3 tablespoons depending on taste preference.
  • For a different texture, try baking the coated pretzels at 250°F for 15-20 minutes to dry and crisp them.
  • Use any neutral oil such as canola, olive, or coconut oil; melted butter works well too for a richer flavor.
  • Shake the bowl gently to avoid breaking the pretzels while evenly coating them.
