These Raspberry Brownies combine rich, fudgy chocolate brownies with the bright, tart flavor of fresh raspberries and sweet raspberry jam swirls, creating a luscious dessert that's both easy to make and visually stunning.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • 1 box Brownie Mix (plus ingredients required on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)

Fruit & Jam

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tbsp raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pan: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the brownie mix box, typically around 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and set it aside.
  2. Mix brownie batter: Make the brownie batter according to the instructions on the back of the boxed mix, combining all required ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Add fresh raspberries: Gently stir the 1 cup of fresh raspberries into the prepared brownie batter, distributing them evenly without crushing.
  4. Swirl in raspberry jam: Drop small dollops of raspberry jam across the surface of the batter in the pan. Using the tip of a knife, swirl the jam into the batter to create a marbled effect.
  5. Add raspberries on top: Press additional fresh raspberries onto the top of the brownie batter to enhance both flavor and visual appeal.
  6. Bake: Bake the brownies according to the time recommended on the box, usually 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Notes

  • Use fresh, firm raspberries for the best texture and flavor.
  • Be careful not to over-swirl the raspberry jam to maintain pretty swirls in the brownies.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting to hold their shape better.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
