These Roast Beef Sliders are an easy and flavorful party appetizer or casual meal. Made with deli roast beef, provolone cheese, and a buttery garlic parsley topping, these sliders are baked until golden and melty. Perfectly soft rolls and savory fillings come together quickly for a satisfying, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

Sliders

  • 12 dinner rolls (connected - regular or Hawaiian rolls)
  • ¾ pound deli roast beef (adjust as desired)
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese (12 thin slices, more or less as desired)

Butter Mixture

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the rolls: Carefully cut the connected dinner rolls in half lengthwise, keeping the two halves connected as slabs. Place the bottom half on the prepared baking sheet. Remove the top half and layer half of the provolone cheese slices evenly over the bottom rolls, then add all the deli roast beef on top, followed by the remaining slices of cheese. Finally, replace the top half of the rolls to form the slider sandwiches.
  3. Make the butter topping: In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the connected rolls to add flavor and promote browning.
  4. Bake the sliders: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the tops of the rolls are golden brown and the cheese has melted completely.
  5. Rest and serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them sit for 5 minutes to set and cool slightly. Transfer to a cutting board and use a serrated knife to carefully cut between the rolls to serve individual sliders.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a splash of horseradish sauce or mustard inside the sliders before baking.
  • Hawaiian rolls bring a slightly sweet contrast to the savory beef and cheese, but regular dinner rolls work just as well.
  • Ensure not to overbake, as the rolls can become too crisp; just melt the cheese and brown the tops.
  • These sliders are best served warm to enjoy the gooey cheese and flavorful butter topping.
