This Tiramisu Overnight Oats recipe offers a deliciously creamy and chocolatey twist on classic overnight oats, perfect for a quick, make-ahead breakfast. Combining the rich flavors of coffee, cocoa, and vanilla with wholesome oats and chia seeds, it’s layered with a dairy-free yogurt vanilla cream and dusted with cocoa powder for a dessert-like morning treat that’s both nutritious and satisfying.

Ingredients

Overnight Oats Mixture

  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 3 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 3/4 cup Soy Milk
  • 1/2 cup Brewed Coffee
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt (optional)

Yogurt Vanilla Cream

  • 1 cup Dairy-Free Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup

Topping

  • 1 teaspoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (to dust on top)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, salt, maple syrup, soy milk, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix Thoroughly: Whisk the mixture for 1-2 minutes until all ingredients are fully combined. Alternatively, place the ingredients in a glass mason jar, shake vigorously to form a consistent chocolate mixture. Expect the mixture to be thin at this stage.
  3. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture and add more maple syrup if desired, either now or as a topping later.
  4. Chill Overnight: Cover the bowl with a lid or seal the jar and place it in the refrigerator to soak overnight, at least 8 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquids and soften.
  5. Prepare Yogurt Cream: The next day, stir together the dairy-free yogurt, vanilla protein powder, and maple syrup until smooth. If too thick, add a little extra yogurt or almond milk to reach desired consistency.
  6. Layer the Oats and Yogurt: In a tall glass or mason jar, alternate layers of overnight oats and yogurt cream, finishing with a layer of the yogurt mixture on top.
  7. Add Finishing Touch: Dust the top layer with unsweetened cocoa powder for a classic tiramisu flavor.
  8. Serve: Enjoy immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • Vanilla protein powder adds extra protein and creaminess but can be omitted if desired.
  • This recipe is naturally dairy-free and vegan-friendly.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated and consume within 3 days for best freshness.
