A rich and refreshing Toasted Coconut Mocha Frappuccino made with chilled strong brewed coffee, toasted coconut flakes, and creamy coconut milk ice cubes. This blended drink combines the flavors of mocha and toasted coconut for a delicious dairy-free coffee treat perfect for warm days or anytime you crave a frosty, coconut-infused coffee drink.

Ingredients

Coffee Base

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled (French press or cold brew is best)

Coconut Components

  • 8 coconut milk ice cubes (about 3/4 cup full-fat or light coconut milk prior frozen into cubes)
  • 1/4 cup toasted unsweetened coconut flakes, plus more for topping

Chocolate and Cocoa

  • 2 tbsp light chocolate syrup, plus more for topping
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare Coconut Milk Ice Cubes: The night before making your frappuccino, shake a can of coconut milk well, then pour it into an ice cube tray. Freeze overnight. You will need about 8-10 cubes for one drink.
  2. Toast the Coconut Flakes: Spread 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes until golden and fragrant. Allow to cool.
  3. Blend the Ingredients: Combine the chilled brewed coffee, toasted coconut flakes, coconut milk ice cubes, light chocolate syrup, and cocoa powder in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust Consistency: To thicken your frappuccino, add more coconut milk ice cubes. To thin it out, add additional coffee or chocolate syrup as desired. Blend again to combine.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Pour the blended frappuccino into a glass and serve immediately. Optionally, top with coconut whipped cream, extra toasted coconut flakes, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup for added flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Use French press or cold brew coffee for the best flavor and smoothness.
  • Freezing coconut milk into ice cubes prevents dilution and keeps the frappuccino creamy.
  • Toasted coconut adds a rich, nutty flavor—be careful not to burn.
  • The drink can be adjusted to taste with more chocolate syrup or coffee for sweetness and strength.
  • Leftover coconut milk ice cubes can be stored and used for future frappuccinos or smoothies.
  • Nutrition does not include optional toppings like coconut whipped cream or additional chocolate drizzle.
