Ingredients

Wrap Base

  • 4 medium flour tortillas

Vegetables

  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and julienned
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 leaves lettuce (romaine or green leaf)
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced

Cheese & Spread

  • 4 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated

Seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tortillas and spread cream cheese mixture: Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and cracked black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over each tortilla to create a flavorful base for your wrap.
  2. Prepare the vegetables: Peel and julienne the carrots using a grater or julienne slicer. Thinly slice the cucumber with a vegetable peeler or mandoline for delicate, even slices. Slice the tomatoes and avocado, and slice the green onion finely.
  3. Assemble the wrap: On each tortilla, layer a leaf of lettuce, followed by a slice of Havarti cheese. Add the tomato slices, avocado slices, julienned carrots, cucumber slices, and sprinkle with sliced green onion for a fresh crunch.
  4. Roll and serve: Carefully roll each tortilla tightly like a burrito to keep all the fillings inside. Cut each wrap in half diagonally. Serve immediately or wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate to keep fresh and maintain shape until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor and crunch.
  • These wraps are best eaten the same day but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
  • For a gluten-free option, substitute flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps.
  • Add protein such as grilled chicken or chickpeas to make it a more filling meal.
  • Adjust the seasonings to taste; you may add a dash of hot sauce or mustard into the cream cheese spread for extra flavor.
